Arbaaz Khan opens up on Divorce with Malaika Arora, says ‘everything seemed fine but it crumbled’

Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan’s divorce came as shock to their fans. The ex-couple parted their ways in 2017.

Arbaaz, who has mostly been tight-lipped about Malaika and their divorce, recently opened up on Anupama Chopra’s chat show.

He said, “Everything seemed fine but it crumbled. Things don’t work out, and it’s only fair that two people who want to take their life in their own hands will take that decision”.

When asked if he would recommend marriage then he replied saying, “of course I would” and went on to say, “This institution has gone on for hundreds and thousands of years. It’s like if you know that you’re going to die, you won’t stop living. Of course, the times are changing, even in the past people didn’t get married”.

He further stated that they gave a thought to a lot of things along with the pros and cons. And then they came to the conclusion that it’s better that they part the ways so they would be better people. He added that they were two people in a situation where they were making each other unhappy and it was affecting everyone’s life around them.

Arbaaz and Malaika tied the knot in 1998. They have a 16-year-old son Arhaan.

Meanwhile, the duo has moved on with their life. Arbaaz is dating Georgia Andriani. While on the other hand, Malaika Arora is dating Arjun Kapoor.
