The wedding season is back in tellyville! After quite a few weddings in the Indian television industry last year, the end of 2017 will see another grand shaadi. “Naagin” actress Aashka Goradia will tie the knot with her ‘firang’ boyfriend Brent Goble and the date is revealed.
Last seen in Star Plus dance reality show “Nach Baliye 8″, Aashka got engaged in December last year when Brent proposed her in front of everyone.
According to reports of TOI, Aashka Goradia and Brent Goble will get married on 3rd December this year in Aashka’s hometown, Ahmedabad.
Confirming the news to leading daily, Aashka said, “We wanted to get married in India and the winters in our country are lovely. Brent’s entire family will be flying down from the US to solemnise the marriage. December is a special month for us as that’s when Brent had popped the question, so we zeroed in on the same month for our wedding as well.”
[ecp code=”4″]“Brent wanted a wedding replete with all the rituals, which seemed possible only in my hometown. Another reason is that I have so many memories associated with the city. I have spent 16 years of my life in Ahmedabad and Gujarat is extremely rich, culturally. I am sure my in-laws will enjoy the traditional garba, gujarati delicacies and the hospitality in my hometown,” actress added.
She further revealed, “”Having the wedding in Ahmedabad was Brent’s idea as he had attended my cousin’s shaadi in the city. And yes, he is a big fan of Gujarati cuisine and he loves aam ras, theplas, and khaman dhokla. It’s a classic case of American ban gaya Gujarati!”
Aashka Goradia and Brent Goble met in the US at an event and began seeing each other. The actress was quoted by saying, “We met at a Las Vegas concert. He was hosting a part of the VIP section and I was there as a guest. Our eyes met and we chased each other. We spoke for about a month when I was in the US, and then I went to see him in Las Vegas.” The actress added, “After five days, we realised that we shouldn’t waste any more time. We found each other. He took me to his place, where I met his parents. We had a serious discussion. He needs to support me in my career and so he moved to India.”
On the work front, Aashka Goradia was last seen on Colors’ show “Naagin 2″ along with Mouni Roy, Adaa Khan and Karanvir Bohra. Congratulations to Aashka Goradia and Brent Noble on their wedding!
