The trailer of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Prachi Desai and Jackky Bhagnani starrer Carbon’s trailer has been released and it is a straight story of a calamity that we are darting towards – the Earth sans oxygen. The 1 minute 33 second long trailer provides an insight into what the world would look like if oxygen were to fully cease.
The short film boasts a unique concept where the world of 2067 is depicted. A world, fifty years from now, where oxygen is not freely available but is a commodity just like soap and toothpaste!
The toxic ways of man conducting life on this planet and, destruction of nature has led to a phenomenon where the basic human need by which life is sustained, oxygen, has become a business commodity! In 2067 oxygen is a trillion-dollar industry and people are seen in conflicts over this necessity.
[ecp code=”4″]Starring Jackky Bhagnani, Nawazzudin Siddiqui, Prachi Desai and Yashpal Sharma, the film brings forth one of the biggest concerns of the planet and weaves it with unique plot and storyline.While Jackky plays a man living on Earth with an artificial heart, Nawaz is a resident of Mars.
Jackky had revealed the first look of Carbon on July 13 at IIFA 2017 in New York. He then said, “As an actor and producer, the only way I know how to communicate with audiences is through the film. Carbon deals with serious environmental issues like Global Warming & Climate Change and their impact on our world. As a citizen of this planet, I think it’s time we stop talking and start doing. Carbon is my attempt at creating awareness and I’m thankful to IIFA for giving me this platform.”
Written and directed by Maitrey Bajpai and Ramiz Ilham Khan, Carbon is produced by Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Gautam Gupta. The film will be released on Large Short Films’ YouTube channel.
