Archana Puran Singh recently seen in the Kapil Sharma Show this week. She has appeared on television after a long time. But, do you know about Archana? Today we are going to tell you some interesting things about Archana’s life.
Archana was born on September 26, 1962 in Dehradun and from there she completed her school. Archana has also worked in TV as well as in films. Archana is known for playing comedy roles in Bollywood movies.
Archana has worked in many bollywood films like Love Story 2050, Mohabbatein, Krrish, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Mastil, Bol Bachchan, Raja Hindustani etc.
In 2006, Archana judge the comedy show ‘Comedy Circus’. After this, she has judged all the seasons of the show.
Archana had a failed marriage before she met Parmeet. After an unsuccessful first marriage, Archana had lost her interest in men and took a vow that she will never marry anyone. For her, the male world was insensitive and domineering. But once she met Parmeet, her outlook towards men changed completely.

Discussing the same, she said in one of her interviews “After my previous failed marriage, I never wanted to have another man in my life. But with Parmeet, I realised that men can be gentle, loving and sensitive, and not all of them are violent and possessive. Parmeet is an absolute antithesis of a male chauvinist.”
The couple was in a live-in relationship for a long time before they tied the knot. It was not easy for them as there was a lot of criticism that the two had to face from the public as well as their private circle. However, it is their understanding that helped them withstand everything.
Though Archana is seven years elder to Parmeet, but their trust, honesty and understanding in their relationship is spot on. Despite a stiff resistance from Parmeet’s family, the couple walked down the aisle on June 30, 1992.
In the year 2005, both took part in the Dance Reality show ‘Nach Baliye’. In 2006, the duo hosted another dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (season 1).
The couple are a proud parents of two sons, Aaryamann and Ayushmaan.
Parmeet has also acted in several films. He has worked in many big films such as Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Diljale, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain, Dhadkan and Rustom.
