Sunny Leone is all set to become the number one queen of item songs. After featuring with Shah Rukh Khan in Raees, Emraan Hashmi in Baadshaho and than she sets everything on fire with her Trippy trippy number from Bhoomi, now she has tried her hand at laavni, to pay tribute to timeless beauty Rekha.
Yes, the actress starred in an item number in the upcoming Marathi film titled Boyz which is all set to hit the screens this September. The song titled Mera Babu is out and Sunny is seen shaking her leg to famous Marathi Lavani track ‘Kuthe Kuthe Jaayacha Honeymoon La.’
This song first appeared in the film Fataakdi, and Rekha performed a laavni in it. Leone’s reprised version is said to be a tribute to Rekha, and has been remixed by Avadhoot Gupte.
Choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. Sunny is seen donning a red nine-yard saree and will sport a bun. Sunny even watched the original song starring Rekha so that she could do justice to this one.
‘Boyz’ is based on different aspects of the life of teenage boys living away from home in a hostel. It is slated to release on September 8.
