Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta starrer ‘Keh Doon Tumhe’ song DROPPED from ‘Baadshaho’, here is why!

Few days ago, the makers of Baadshaho had released its solo remix song with the recreated version of the Deewar song, Keh Doon Tumhe.

Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta were seen doing some cool steps on the bike and their fans went crazy looking at their chemistry.

However, unfortunately, we will not see the song anymore on any platform. It’s been pulled out from the movie and social platforms as well.

The makers are dropping the song from the movie, after Rajiv Rai, the owner of Trimurti Films, filed a copyright infringement case against T-Series and won the case, reveals a report in Mid-Day.

While speaking to mid-day, Rai said, “When you make a song, you sometimes give the remix rights to the music company. But, in this case, we had not given the rights to Polydor (Universal). So when T-Series took the remix rights from Universal, the company told them categorically that if Trimurti Films sues them, they will have to fight it out. It’s not just a fight for me, but for all producers in Bollywood.”

Rajiv Rai also indirectly blasted the makers of Azhar and Machine for using his songs from Tridev (Oye Oye) and Mohra (Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast) without his permission. He said, “Not many producers bother confronting a music company. Earlier, many of my songs like Oye Oye [Tridev, 1989] and Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast [Mohra, 1994] were recreated. The concerned people said that I have given them permission. But, truth is, nobody ever sought my permission, nor did I ever make a penny out of it.”

Meanwhile the chairman of T-Series, Bhushan Kumar confirmed that the song will not be there in the movie. He revealed, “We’ve always bought recreation rights from the respective music companies. This is the first time that the rights were fractured. We have dropped the song from the movie and pulled it down from all networks.”

‘Baadshaho’ is a story of a gang of robbers trying to loot the gold reserve, which is being transported from one city to another. Within 96 hours, a truck full of gold will have to safely cover 600 kilometers to reach its destination.

The film stars Ajay Devgn, Ileana D’Cruz, Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta, Sanjai Mishra and Vidyut Jammwal in key roles and it is set to hit screens on September 1 , 2017.
