Recently a major fire broke out on the sets of dance reality TV show Super Dancer Season 2 at the iconic RK Studio in Chembur. The fire mishap had not injured anyone as the set of the Sony Entertainment Television show was locked and no one was shooting.
According to the sources “There was a short circuit because of which the fire started. The sets of ‘Super Dancer 2′ has been destroyed completely. But there are no casualties since no one was working there. But the set has been burnt down entirely. The show was about to launch in 15 days and everything was set before this unfortunate incident took place.”
The fire break out made it impossible for the team to continue shooting, and since the premiere date of the reality show is September 30, the makers were left with little time to undo the damage. They could not replace or create a new set. Hence, the move helped them resume the shooting.But now, the makers could heave a sigh of relief as they have resumed the shoot.
Reportedly, Sony TV has decided to give them the sets of “The Kapil Sharma Show” to shoot. With this decision, one thing is clear that The Kapil Sharma Show will not return anytime soon.
Talking about the incident and the show’s release date, a source had earlier said, “The fire mishap will not delay the show, and its premiere date will remain the same.”
The second season of “Super Dancer” will feature actress Shilpa Shetty, ace choreographer Geeta Kapur and filmmaker Anurag Basu as judges. Its promos are already on air.
