Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan turns 75 today. The actor who is currently hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati season 9 gets a pre-birthday surprise on the sets of the show.
As a surprise, the team of KBC has released a special video showing students and teachers of the Sherwood College, Nainital, from where the actor graduated, celebrating his birthday.
The backdrop of the college was decorated with life- size posters of Bachchan and students and teachers sang the birthday song. Also, Bachchan’s favourite guitarist Niladri Kumar played the birthday tune on his guitar.
[ecp code=”4″]As the video plays, we also see Big B explaining to the contestants how he was extremely upset about not performing on the stage because of measles and it was his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, who taught him that whatever happens, happens for good.
As the video ends with birthday wishes for the legendary performer, Amitabh Bachchan becomes speechless and breaks into tears.

This special episode of the show will be aired on October 11 on Sony Entertainment Television.
Bollywood Shahenshah, who had recently written on his blog that he would not be celebrating his birthday this year left for Maldives with his family for some private time. While Aaradhya has designed a special hand-painted card, Aishwarya and Abhishek have planned a special yacht party.
On the work front, apart from Kaun Banega Crorepati season 9, Amitabh Bachchan is busy with the shooting of his upcoming film, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ in which he would be starring with Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
