Meet Shah Rukh Khan’s cousins who lives in Peshawar, Pakistan!

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan turns 52 today. The actor was born on 2 November, 1965 in New Delhi. Khan’s father, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan, was an Indian independence activist. While, his mother Lateef Fatima was a magistrate.


Apart from these, fans knows about Shahrukh’s elder sister, Shehnaz Lalarukh Khan, wife Gauri Khan and three children (Aryan, Suhana and Abaram).

But there are also some other family members of Shah Rukh, about whom only few people knows. Yes, we are talking about SRK’s cousins who lives in Pakistan.

Mansoor Khan

Khwani market is an area of ​​Peshawar in Pakistan, where SRK’s cousins live. Shah Rukh’s uncle Ghulam Mohammed Gama was a freedom fighter. While, his son Mansoor Khan, makes bamboos stairs in Peshawar. In an interview, he told that SRK is very close to his younger brother Maqsood Khan.

Mansoor also told that in 1978, Shah Rukh first reached Peshawar with his father. Actually, during the partition of India-Pakistan in 1947, Shahrukh’s father migrated to New Delhi.

Apart from Mansoor and Maqsood, there is also a daughter of Ghulam Mohammed, whose name is Noor Jahan (Munni). In 1997, she had came to Mumbai and stayed with Shah Rukh for around two and a half months.

Noor is so impressed with Shah Rukh that she even named her son Shah Rukh.

SRK likes this Peshawari Chappal:

According to Mansoor, SRK is fond of Peshawari Chappal. In 1980, when SRK went to Peshawar, he bought a pair of Chappal and he kept wearing it for seven years.

Mansoor Khan also told that Shahrukh used to dream of becoming an actor since childhood and he used to told his cousins during Peshawar visit.

Shahrukh’s father was the youngest of five brothers:

Khan’s father, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan was the youngest of five brothers. Mian Mohammed, Ghulam Mohammed, Allah Bakhsh and Khan Mohammed were the elder brothers of Meer Taj. He also had a sister, whose name was Kher Jan.
