Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla turns 50 today. The actress is one of the beautiful actresses in Bollywood, and was crowned Miss India in 1984.
Her first Bollywood movie was Sultanat, but she shot to fame from her second movie Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.
She was one of the most successful heroines in the 90s. During the shoot of Rakesh Roshan’s movie Karobar, Rakesh Roshan introduced her to his friend Jay Mehta. Jay was already married at that time.
Juhi and Jay became friends and kept meeting regularly thereafter. During this time, Jay’s wife passed away and his mother fell ill.
Juhi was quite close to Jay’s mother and took good care of her while she was unwell. She came very close to Jay’s family.

The couple had to put their wedding plans on hold when Juhi’s mom Mona Kapoor passed away in a car crash. The two shared a special bond and the incident left Juhi shaken. Jay was always by her side when her mother and brother passes away.
In 1995, Juhi got married to Jay Mehta. The couple has two children, Jahnavi Mehta (born 2001) and a boy, Arjun Mehta (born 2003).
Jay Mehta is a businessman and owns Mehta group of Companies, which spread over Africa, India, Canada, and USA. Earlier, he was married to Sujata Birla, who is sister of Yash Birla. She was died in Flight 605 plane crash on February 14, 1990.
Although, the couple have face a lot of ups and down, their relationship has only grown stronger with time and the couple have been happily married for almost two decades.
