Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut who is currently gearing for her upcoming film ‘Manikarnika – The Queen Of Jhansi’ has recently injured again on the sets of the film.
The actress had a ligament tear while shooting an action sequence for her film in Jodhpur. The accident took place when Kangana was performing a shot in Fort Mehrangarh, Jodhpur, where Rani Laxmi Bai is shown to jump off a 40 feet wall with Damodar her child tied to her back on to a horse back. It’s said that, Kangana didn’t land properly and in an attempt to save the child from any injury ended up hurting her ankle.
Recently, the actress was spotted at Mumbai airport, escorted by her team as she arrived on a wheelchair with her right leg secured in a cast.
Kangana, told media persons: “During this scene, I stumbled and injured my right ankle. There was nothing serious. It was just a sprain,”
After being discharged from the hospital, Kangana was taken back to her hotel in Jodhpur where she took rest before returning to Mumbai.
Kangana has already finished shooting for major action sequences for the film and this was the last dangerous one that was to be performed by her.
This is the second time when Kangana has gotten injured on the sets of Manikarnika. Earlier, while shooting for a sword fighting scene, co-actor Nihar Pandya’s sword hit her head and she was left bleeding profusely. This accident scarred her face but Kangana flaunted it proudly like a battle scar. Kangana had to get 15 stitches between her eyebrows after this accident.
