Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan who recently become a proud mother of a baby girl, has finally launch her book, The Perils of Being Moderately Famous.
The whole family, including her husband Kunal Khemu, siblings Saba and Saif Ali Khan, mother Sharmila Tagore and sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor attended the book launch.
Kareena looked gorgeous in a red coloured body con dress whereas Saif looked like a Nawab in a white churidar kurta and red sleeveless bandhgala jacket.
Sharmila Tagore looked graceful in a light blue silk sari. Both Soha and Kunal kept it casual for the evening.
“It is like being at the premiere of Iti Srikanta (Soha Ali Khan’s debut Bengali film). It was Soha’s first film and today is also a kind of debut.” Sharmila said in a statement.
Kareena Kapoor also shares her thoughts and said “If there is one person I am in awe of in this family, it is Soha… she is the torch-bearer of this family.” Furthermore, she added, “Soha has always been so polite and if there’s anyone in the family that we turn to when amma (Sharmila Tagore) is all worked up, then it’s just one person who can control the situation and it’s Soha.”
Saif also said that he would love to write a horror story or a political satire. He said, “Yes, ghost stories. Chilling tales of life in the movie industry. I’d like to write a book on something like that or political satire or comedy. So, it would be comedy, political satire of horror. I am not sure.”
Soha’s book is a collection of personal essays through which she recounts with self-deprecating humour what it is like to grow up in one of India’s most popular families. It narrates the anecdotes from her growing up days as a modern princess, her college days and her life as a celebrity.
