Ajay Devgn and Ileana D’cruz’s upcoming film, Raid trailer is out. Set in Uttar Pradesh in the 1980s, Raid is based on real-life events involving one of the most high profile income tax raids the country has ever known.
The 1-minute-long trailer is full of power-packed dialogues. Ajay Devgn essays the role of Amay Patnaik, Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, Lucknow whose idealism has forced him to be transferred 49 times in seven years. Such is his idealism that he says that he will not quit fighting corruption even if he is transferred for a fiftieth time.
The film also stars Ileana D’Cruz in the role of Ajay’s wife who supports her husband through thick and thin.

Raid is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, who previously did Aamir and No One Killed Jessica. nd Saurabh Shukla. Raid is scheduled for a March 16 release.
