2007 release ‘Chak De India’ Women’s hockey team seen again together. One of the girls, Shubhi Mehta aka Gunjan Lakhani recently tied the knot, with love of her life, a Gurgaon based educator Apoorv Bajpai. Shah Rukh Khan’s entire hockey team was present at the wedding in Gurgaon. However, coach SRK was disappeared from the function.

Chitrashi Rawat (Komal Chautala)
Playing the role of Haryanvi Tom Boy Komal Chautala is a real-life Hockey player too. She began playing hockey as a left-striker at the age of 17 for Uttarakhand state in India. Born in 1989 in Dehradun, Chitrashi portrayed the role of Komal at the age of 18 and got a lot of appreciation from the audience. She was picked for the role of a hockey player in the movie Chak De India star opposite Shah Rukh Khan by the producers after an audition in Jabalpur. Sagarika Ghatge (Preeti Sabarwal)
Sagarika Ghatge, portrayed Preeti Sabarwal, a fictional member of the Indian women’s national hockey team, in the movie, Chak De! India is a national level athlete in real life. Chak De girl was born on 8 January 1986 in Kolhapur received the Screen Award for Best Supporting Actress for the same.Soon after the success of the film, she became the brand ambassador of Reebok India. She has appeared in fashion magazines and various fashion shows. Sagarika Ghatge came into limelight and after that, she saw in Fox, Miley Naa Miley Hum, Jee Bhar Ke Jee Lee, Rush etc.
Vidya Malvade (Vidya Sharma)
Vidya started her career with Vikram Bhatt’s flop film Inteha in 2003, she plays the role of a goalkeeper and captain in Chak De! India. She was very much appreciated for the film. After Chak De in 2007, she plays a varied role in films Benaam, Tum Milo Toh Sahi, Aap Ke Liye Hum, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara! etc but did not get as much success in the industry.
Tanya Abrol (Balbir Kaur)
Playing the role of aggressive girl Balbir Kaur in the film, Tanya co-hosted award function Star Sabse Favorite Kon. She appeared in a TV show Palampur Express and Kuch Toh Log Kahenge on Sony.
Anaitha Nair (Aliya Bose)
Anaitha Nair shot to fame after playing the role of Aliya Bose in sports-oriented film Chak De India. She is a theatre actress and singer. Along with Hind films like Mumbai Calling, Well Done Abba, Aashayein etc she also appears in two Malayalam films, By the People (2005) and IG (2009). In 2011 she gets married to his school friend Akhil Nayar. Now she is leaving in Hong Kong with her husband and an adorable daughter.
Shilpa Shukla (Bindiya Naik)
Getting fame for playing the role of Bindiya in Chak De! India, Shilpa Shukla portrayed the role of sexy aunty in 2013 neo-noir film B.A. Pass for which was awarded the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress. She also was seen in films like Rockstar, Rajdhani Express Crazy Cukkad Family etc. She also appeared in the Disney’s Best Of Luck Nikki as Parminder shortened to Pam. Apart from Bollywood movies, she appeared in a regional movie Love You Soniye (Punjabi). She played the central character of Santosh in Yeh Hai Aashiqui and famous detective anthology series, CID.
Arya Menon (Gul Iqbal)
Arya Menon aka Gul Iqbal never wants to become an actress. After Chak De! India she takes 6 months of break and then hosts a TV show which was a flop. She also did some South films but did not get fame. Recently she touched in the industry as a costume designer.
Sandia Furtado (Nethra Reddy)
Sandia Furtado has risen to fame with her portrayal of the character Nethra Reddy in the film. Her most impressive dialogue in the movie is a sarcastic comparison of the difference between Tamil and Telugu. She was also recently featured in the CNN IBN Citizens Journalist commercial. She is a PR professional now, residing in the Bandra region of Mumbai.
Seema Azmi (Rani Dispotta)
