Amitabh Bachchan admitted Lilavati hospital for routine check-up, discharged after treatment!

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan admitted to Lilavati hospital here on Friday. But the Bollywood megastar, 75, left the facility a few hours after a routine check-up.

 Mr Bachchan was admitted in Lilavati after he complained of pain in his lower back, reports news agency IANS. “Mr Bachchan came for a routine check-up and went home,” Ravishankar, CEO of the Lilavati Hospital, told IANS.

Reports earlier in the day suggested that the 75-year-old actor was suffering from a gastrointestinal problem and had also complained of pain in neck and spine.

Amitabh was spotted in the backseat of his car He hid his face with a cap. His son Abhishek Bachchan was also seen by his side.

Later, he posted a poem on his blog recollecting his hospital visit and his tryst with the paparazzi outside the hospital – apparently, Mr Bachchan was stunned by the shutterbugs clicking the pictures.

Meanwhile, the teaser of Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming film, 102 Not Out has been released. In the film, he will be seen with Rishi Kapoor after a span of 27 years. Based on a Gujarati play by the same name, the film showcases an unusual and heart rending relationship between a father and son.
