Story of the movie: The film story is about Teji (Diljit Singh), a wannabe actor and Jeenal Patel (Sonakshi Sinha), a fashion designer, winner of the IIFA talent hunt flies down to New York to attend the awards show. Garry (Boman Irani) plays the founder of IIFA having a competitive employee in Sophie (Lara Dutta) working under him. Sophie wants partnership in the company, whereas Garry denies it clearly. Garry’s refusal for partnership makes Sophie choose two worst of the contestants in order to ruin the reputation of IIFA. Teji (Diljit Dosanjh) who’s a self acclaimed actor and Jinal Patel (Sonakshi Sinha) an ordinary costume designer get a chance to go to New York. Rest of the story drags on the similar plot introducing Karan Johar & Riteish Deshmukh as hosts, Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan and others.

Star Performance: Sonakshi Sinha seems okay with her role. While, Diljit Dosanjh’s immense efforts to add comedy, can save this film. Boman Irani and Lara Dutta were also okay in their respective performance. Karan Johar & Ritesh Deshmukh share few funny sequences but that’s about it.

Music Direction: The film’s music is okay. Not a single song has worth to listen for second time.

Direction: The film’s backdrop is of the IIFA (India International Film Academy Award) in New York, but there is no new element in it. Cameos of Sushant Singh Rajput, Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapoor and others has not brought any Wow angle to the story. There are many jokes in the film but nothing funny enough to stop it from being a joke of a film. Being a comedy film, but it fails to make audience laugh.

Watch Or Not: There is no funny element in the story. You can watch it once, otherwise wait for its TV premier.
