Ajay Devgn and Ileana DCruz starrer ‘Raid’ has been released in cinemas. The movie is said to be set in the ’80s and its plot is centred around a famous income tax raid that happened in UP.
Story of the movie: The story revolves around Amay Patnaik (Ajay Devgn) who is a fearless IAS officer conducts a nonstop raid at Rameshwar Singh aka Tauji (Saurabh Shukla) the home of the most powerful man in the city, while, the latter did everything to stop it. He even threatens Amay, but he didn’t move backwards. Ajay’s wife Neeta (Ileana D’Cruz) has also been attacked. Despite this, she supported her husband. Will Amay gets succeed and what difficulties he face while conducting Raid, for this you have to watch the film.
Star Performance: Ajay Devgan has delivered a brilliant performance as an income tax officer. He completely done justice to his role. While, Saurabh Shukla has also done a great job. The dialogues delivery between Saurabh and Ajay is also fantastic. And, Ileana D’Cruz plays her part well and has looked charming as always.
Music Direction: The film’s music is good. Songs like Sanu Ek Pal and Nit Khair Manga are already hit among the audience. However, there was no need of songs in the film.
Direction: The film’s direction is good. Director Rajkumar Gupta could make some scenes of the movie even more better. At the same time, Ajay-Ileana’s romance scenes do not fit into the film’s story. These scenes could be reduced. But Ajay’s scenes with Saurabh Shukla are entertaining, thanks to the well written dialogues.
