These days Cybercrime is on the rise and a number of celebrities are becoming a victim of the same. Now lately, actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee who is popularly known for her role ‘Gopi Bahu’ in Saath Nibhana Saathiya has became a victim of cyber crime recently.
Yes, if reports are to be believed, the actress bank account gets hacked, and she has lost Rs 16000 from the account too.
Talking to Bollywoodlife.com, “I just learnt about it today morning while checking my inbox. I got a message that Rs 16K has been transferred. I did not shop and then I realised that my account has been hacked. The message indicated that it was transferred somewhere in San Francisco. I got my account blocked and I am resolving the issue. I just want to say that people need to be more careful while using their credit cards. And they should be more protective about their passwords.”

Well, Devoleena is not the first actor who has became a victim. Earlier, In May 2017, Nakuul was also the victim of bank when a significant amount of cash was transferred from the actor’s account. The actor than lodged the police complaint.
It is really depressing to see how cybercrime is spreading its paws on people around us. We just hope that Devollena gets her money back and the culprits get punished well.
