After reaching Mumbai, she was trying to scale the boundary wall of Salman Khan’s residence-Galaxy Apartment in Bandra, just so she could meet the actor. The girl was caught by the security personnel and was handed over to Bandra police.
A report on The Indian Express suggests that the girl studied in the ninth standard and resides in Berasia, near Bhopal. The incident took place on Tuesday, when the main control room of the Mumbai police was informed that the girl had scaled the wall to enter the building premises. The police brought her to Bandra police station where the initial inquiry took place, post which she was reportedly sent to a children’s home in Dongri.
During investigation, the police learnt that the girl’s parents had a registered a case under section 363 (kidnapping) of the Indian Penal Code with Berasia police on Monday.
An officer said, “The girl had left her house on Sunday evening and she arrived in the city on Tuesday morning. We believe that the girl instantly caught the long distance train and came to Mumbai.”
The girl knew the address of the actor so after alighting the train at Bandra terminus she went to Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment at Bandstand.
“The girl initially tried entering the building premises from the gate but she was stopped by the security guards. The girl said it was her dream to meet Salman Khan and requested them to allow her to meet him. The guards didn’t allow her to enter claiming that he wasn’t at home so she decided to climb the wall and meet the star,” said an officer.
“During the inquiry, she said she was from Berasia, so we called and informed the local police about the girl as even they were on the lookout for the girl. We managed to get her parents contact number, and informed them as well.” concluded the officer.
