Divya Seth Shah to play Manmohan Singh’s wife in ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’

Bollywood actor Anupam Kher is currently shooting for his upcoming film ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’. Earlier, the actor’s first look as former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh leaves everyone spell bound.

And now, the actor introduces Divya Seth who will play the role of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s wife Gursharan Kaur in the upcoming political movie.

Actor Anupam Kher shared the news with a photograph of himself and Divya dressed in their respective looks in the film and captioned it as, “Introducing Divya Seth Shah as Mrs Gursharan Kaur, wife of honourable ex-Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singhji”.

Directed by newcomer Vijay Ratnakar Gutte, The Accidental Prime Minister will be an onscreen adaptation of Sanjay Baru’s book of the same name, who served as the media adviser to the former Prime Minister.

Written by National Award-winning filmmaker Hansal Mehta, the political drama will also have Akshaye Khanna.

The film is expected to release on December 21.
