The 19th edition of bollywood’s most awaited IIFA awards 2018 took place in Bangkok, Thailand. The green carpet which was attended by many b-town celebs was full of dance, glitz, music and glamour.
But, it was an emotional moment for Kapoor family as the late actress Sridevi was honoured at the awards ceremony.
Boney Kapoor accepted the Best Actress award on behalf of his late wife and legendary actress Sridevi for her role in 2017 crime thriller, Mom.
After collecting the award, Boney Kapoor gets teary-eyed and said, “I have mixed emotions today. I miss her every minute and second of my life. I still feel she is around here….I want you all to support Janhvi like you supported her mother.”

His son Arjun Kapoor and brother Anil Kapoor later came on stage to comfort him.
“She was a true genius. The country, the world and our family misses you,” an emotional Anil said while remembering Sridevi on stage.
Anil Kapoor later touched his elder brother Boney’s feet on stage, thanking him for being his constant support.
Sridevi died on Feburary 24 due to accidental drowning in bathtub. The actress death has left the entire nation in shocked. Meanwhile, her family coping up with this great loss.
She was 54. The actress was in Dubai to attend her nephew’s Mohit Marwah’s wedding. The actress untimely death has shocked millions of her fans.
