Lovebirds Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla who ties the knot on June 21 at the Woodville Palace in Shimla amid close friends and family members are now back in Mumbai.
Today, the couple will be hosting a wedding reception tonight at Kishore Kumar’s bungalow in Juhu, Mumbai for their industry friends.
But before this, the lovebirds enter their new paradise. Yes, Rubina and Abhinav have bought a new flat in Malad, where they will be staying now, post marriage.
They were welcomed by Abhinav’s mother in the most traditional way. She did the griha pravesh puja before letting them enter their love nest.
[ecp code=”4″]Rubina posted a picture on her Instagram page and captioned it as,“After all the rituals and Functions, we head To Mumbai (in our new home) …….. as we are committed to our work , we chose to get back….And after a week of unforgettable memories and celebrations…… with friends and Family around, (deep down) i didn’t want to step in my new world without “Being Welcomed and blessed”… and here’s what happened. my secret desire was fulfilled by ‘sensitively’ thoughtful @hegdeg as Aai (his amazingly graceful maa) did my Greh-Pravesh…. what a heart warming moment it was for us @ashukla09 ………. (one of the Best surprises).”
Meanwhile, the couple will not be heading to their honeymoon. In fact, both have resumed their respective shoots. Speaking to a leading entertainment portal, Rubina said, “There’s no honeymoon as of now, we both have too much work to finish before we can think of going on a holiday. But it’s definitely on the agenda, and we will plan one at a later date.”
On the work front, Rubina is currently playing lead role of ‘Soumya’ in Colors TV show ‘Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’. While, Abhinav ventured back to television with Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka.
