Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Gold’ is one of the much-awaited films of the year. Well, the trailer and some posters of the film has already created a huge buzz among the audience.
And now, the makers has released the new promo of the film and it features Akshay Kumar convincing a committee to let him lead the hockey team of India.
Gold is said to be based on the life of Balbir Singh. For those of you who don’t know, Balbir is the man who led to India’s victory in hockey at the 1948 London Olympics, and it was India’s first gold medal after the independence.

“Gold” marks the first association between Akshay and Excel Entertainment led by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.
Written and directed by Reema Kagti, the film will hit the big screens on August 15.
