After Gabbar is Back, now Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor are reuniting for Karan Johar’s Dharama productions upcoming film. The movie has been titled ‘Good News’.
The film will also stars actors Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in pivotal roles.
Taking it to social media, Akshay Kumar shared the title and release date of the film and wrote, “Good News! That’s the name of our film and so is the news I am sharing 🙂 It is a ‘dramedy’ Due Date 19th July, 2019.”

This is not the first time Akshay and Kareena will be seen working together. The two have previously worked in films like Ajnabee, Kambakkht Ishq, Tashan and Bewafaa. Kareena has also shared the screen with Diljit in Udtaa Punjab.
Earlier, Mirror had reported that the film will narrate a story of a couple – Akshay and Kareena living in Delhi, trying to have a baby. While, another Punjabi couple Diljit and Kiara play a significant role in Akshay and Kareena’s life.
The drama will be helmed by debutante director Raj Mehta and will be produced by Karan Johar.
The film is slated to release on 19 July 2019.
