Finally! Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ first poster out and it features a fused bulb in the foreground along with a tagline: “Fused bulb se kranti nahi lai sakti .”
Taking to social media, Shahid shares the poster of the film. Along with the poster, he also announce the release date of the trailer of the film.
The actor captioned the poster as, “It’s current! It’s light! It’s shocking! #BattiGulMeterChalu#BGMCPoster Trailer out on Friday at 12:30 pm.”
[ecp code=”4″]Batti Gul Meter Chalu is a social drama that talks about electricity shortage in smaller towns. The film also features Yami Gautam, who will be seen portraying the role of a lawyer in the film. The film has extensively been shot in Uttarakhand.
This film marks the second collaboration between Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor after Vishal Bhardwaj’s Haider.
Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film is slated to release on September 21.
