Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan is suffering from NeuroEndocrine Tumour. The actor is currently in London undergoing treatment. His illness came as a shock to many.
Well, the actor recently underwent his fifth chemotherapy and luckily no side effects of the same have surfaced so far. And now, he is all set to underwent his sixth and last chemotherapy in 2-3 days. Post which his stomach will be scanned.
After his fifth Chemo, he got admitted in the hospital for 15 days, after facing excess of weakness on July 14. The actor has been fighting the dreadful disease like a true hero.
In March, the actor revealed that he has been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour, a rare form of cancer that can target various parts of the body, and is out of the country for treatment.
“It’s been quite some time now since I have been diagnosed with a high-grade neuroendocrine cancer. This new name in my vocabulary, I got to know, was rare, and due to fewer study cases, and less information comparatively, the unpredictability of the treatment was more. I was part of a trial-and-error game,” the actor wrote.
While, we surely knows that Irrfan is a strong fighter and he will comes out as a winner.
