In a shocking turn of events, bollywood actor Prateik Babbar has been booked for rash driving in Goa, after his car allegedly hits a scooter.
The accident took place on the Panaji-Mapusa highway on Wednesday evening.
According to complainant Paulo Correa, Prateik’s car hit his scooter that he was riding with his sister. The two reportedly got into an altercation after the accident and Prateik misbehaved with the complainant.
“When Babbar was taken for medical examination at the state-run Asilo Hospital in Mapusa town, he refused to give his blood sample,” Porvorim police station inspector Paresh Naik told PTI.
[ecp code=”4″]“We have registered the case of an accident under the Motor Vehicle Act. One person was injured, but not seriously,” police inspector added.
Meanwhile, Prateik too has registered a complaint against Correa accusing him of smashing his car’s window-shield.
Prateik Babbar, the son of actors Raj Babbar and late Smita Patil, has worked in films like Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Dhobi Ghat, Dum Maro Dum and My Friend Pinto.
