Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer Kedarnath has been released in cinemas. The film is the love story that is set against the backdrop of the devastating incident of 2013 floods.

Kedarnath Review

Story of the movie:

The story of the film revolves around a Muslim boy Mansoor Khan (Sushant Ali Khan) who is a pitthoo in Kedarnath and carries pilgrims to the shrine. His world turns around when he meets Mandakini aka Mukku (Sara Ali Khan) a feisty, young girl living in Kedarnath with her family. Her father (Nitish Bharadwaj) is a local priest. Their relationship face trouble because Mukku’s father doesn’t approve of Mukku’s romance with Mansoor. In the meanwhile, the floods devastate the region. Whether these two lovers will get united or separated forever, this forms the crux of the story.

Star Performance:

Sara Ali Khan who made her debut from the film has delivered a brilliant performance in the film. While, Sushant Singh Rajput is marvellous in his act. While, others like Alka Amin, Nishant Dahiya and Pooja Gor have done justice to their roles.

Music Direction:

The film’s music is good. Songs like Namo Namo, Sweetheart and Jaan Nisaar are already hit among the audience.

The film’s direction is good. We were also very impressed with its VFX and the manner in which the floods have been portrayed kept us (and everyone else in the screening) mesmerized. Background score, action choreography are the attractions on the technical front.
