Yesterday, we told you that Taapsee Pannu has been dropped from the remake of Pati Patni Aur Woh at the last minute without being informed.
Taapsee, in recent reports, has expressed her disappointment over this behavior of the producers and also added that the director Mudassar Aziz too wasn’t informed of the same.
Well now, if reports are to be believed, Bhumi Pednekar has been brought on board in Taapsee’s place.

Pati Patni Aur Woh (1978) revolves around how the lives of a married couple Ranjeet (Sanjeev Kumar) and Sharda (Vidya Sinha) change after he gets a promotion and a stunning secretary Nirmala (Ranjeeta Kaur). The film is a comical take on extra-marital affairs.
According to reports, Bhumi will play the wife, which was originally played by Vidya Sinha. However, the official confirmation is yet to make.
It is being reported that Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday will step into Sanjeev Kumar and Ranjeeta Kaur’s shoes respectively.
Taapsee was stunned to learn that she had been dropped from the film at the last minute. She says this is disheartening and she wants an answer for this.
When she was asked if she has given a reason for being dropped, she said, “Poor Mudassar also hasn’t been given a reason for it. He was just asked to ‘take someone else’. When I tried to confront the producers, I wasn’t given a proper reason. As much as I have been trying to get some clarity on the matter, they have been putting the conversation off, which is very weird.”

Wonder if her remuneration was a problem and she said, “The money part had not even been discussed for it to be a problem. I assumed that I was the first choice since the director narrated the script to me first. After moving my dates, I think it would have been better if I was informed about the development instead of finding out about it from others. I deserve an answer. This is disheartening. I wish such a thing never happens to another actor,” she rues, reiterating that it is “a good part, so good luck to whoever is going to do it”.
