TV actor Ssharad Malhotra and Divyanka Tripathi left many fans heartbroken when they parted ways on a bitter note after years of togetherness. But gradually, things changed when Divyanka found love again in her “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein” co-star Vivek Dahiya and walked down the aisle with him.
And now, the actor also moved on in his life and is all set to tie the knot with Delhi-based fashion designer girlfriend Ripci Bhatia.
Ssharad Malhotra found love in Ripci Bhatia
In an interview with Bombay Times, Ssharad said, “Yes, I am getting married in the third week of April in Mumbai. When I was introduced to Ripci, I had just come out of a relationship and was going through a difficult phase. Initially, we would just exchange occasional pleasantries on social media. It was only after Ganpati last year that we got talking on the phone, which was after my last relationship ended.”
“What connected us probably was our fear of marriage. In fact, Ripci travelled the world for six years to avoid marriage, as the pressure on a girl at her age was mounting. I would have loved to do that, too, but I was constantly working. It’s only recently that our families got involved after we spoke over the phone for a few days. Both of us instantly realised that this is it and decided to take the plunge,” he added.
Ripci also shared a post on her Instagram handle where she can be seen flaunting her engagement solitaire ring.
Before Ripci, Ssharad was in a relationship with Divyanka Tripathi and Pooja Bisht. He broke up with Divyanka in 2015 after dating the popular actress for about 9 years. Post their split, Divyanka went on record saying that it left her heart-broken while Ssharad kept mum on the issue for a long time. Then he dated, Pooja Bisht for almost two years.
