Few days back, there have been news doing the rounds that Kartik Aryan and Sara Ali Khan are all set to star in filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal 2. And now, the duo starts the shooting of the film.

For those not in the know, on Koffee With Karan 6, Sara had confessed that she has a crush on Kartik Aaryan and wouldn’t mind going out on a date with him.

Speaking about the project, it is a sequel of Imtiaz’s 2009 rom-com, Love Aaj Kal which featured Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Rishi Kapoor in lead roles.
It was earlier reported that Saif might be a part of the film, but he denied the news.
