After two chart-topping numbers, ‘Ghar More Pardesiya‘ and ‘First class’, now the makers of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer Kalank is all set to release the title track of the film on 29 March.
Well, ahead of the song release, the makers of have shared the teaser of the song.
Composed by Pritam, ‘Kalank Nahi Ishq Hai’, the title track of this love story, is sung by Arijit Singh and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
Kalank title track to release tomorrow
Talking about the song, Pritam had told Bombay Times, “The song describes the emotional space of the characters. I would give a lot of credit to Amitabh for writing a song with a word like kalank; it’s not easy and he wrote multiple versions of the song of which one made the cut.”

Kalank is a period flick set in the 1940s and is back by Karan Johar under his home banner Dharma Productions. The idea of Kalank was conceptualised by Karan’s late father Yash Johar 15 years back and it was revealed by him a few days back. The film is set against the backdrop of India’s partition.
