Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty has started shooting for her upcoming film Motichoor Chaknachoor opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
However, the latest reports suggest that the actress’ father and actor Suniel Shetty has been interfering a little too much in final edit of Athiya’s film, so the makers of the film has sent a legal notice to the actor.
Suniel Shetty gets a legal notice
A report in Mumbai Mirror states that Suniel Shetty has been meddling a lot in Motichoor Chaknachoor, which is not going down too well with the makers of the film. So much so, that a public notice has been issued against the actor for his interference.
A leading newspaper reports that producers Rajesh and Kiran Bhatia issued a public notice on March 13 through their advocates Ramesh and Kusum Jain, clarifying that they were “the only final authority and decision-making authority on every aspect” of Motichoor Chaknachoor.
“Mr Suniel Shetty has no right, title and/or interest in the said film and has no capacity or any authority to either directly or indirectly discuss or take any decisions, negotiate, strategise or overlook the edit or in any manner interfere or be involved with the film Motichoor Chaknachoor or with its cast, crews, technical teams or coordinate with the studio involved with the film or its creative and marketing teams or post productions or any person connected or with the trade,” the notice added.
Mumbai Mirror also mentioned that the notice ended with a word of caution for Suniel. It read: “If done so, it shall be considered as trespassing and breach of confidentiality at its own risk, cost and consequences.”
When the publication contacted Suniel, he laughed and said, “I will talk at the right time.”
Meanwhile, Athiya was last seen in Arjun Kapoor-Anil Kapoor-Ileana D’Curz starrer Mubarakan (2017).
