Vivek Oberoi starrer PM Narendra Modi gets U certificate from CBFC

Vivek Oberoi starrer PM Narendra Modi has finally granted a ‘unrestricted’ (U) certificate from CBFC.

Director of the film Omung Kumar B told IANS that he knew this would happen. “We knew it will happen. Finally, it’s out,” said Omung.

In a recent statement, Omung said, “The team and I were convinced of what we have made. It’s a piece of cinema and not propaganda and now the Censor Board has validated what we have been saying all along. Very thankful and excited for the April 11. I hope the audiences enjoy this film, which for me, has been my toughest film till date”.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted that the film, which features actor Vivek Anand Oberoi, has a run time of 130 minutes, 53 seconds.

PM Narendra Modi will chronicle the journey of Narendra Damodardas Modi from his humble beginning to years as the Gujarat Chief Minister to the landmark win in the 2014 general elections, and finally becoming the Prime Minister.

Vivek Oberoi will be seen in and as ‘PM Narendra Modi’. Apart from Vivek, the film also features includes Darshan Kumaar, Boman Irani, Manoj Joshi, Prashant Narayanan, Zarina Wahab, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, Anjan Shrivastav, Yatin Karyekar, Rajendra Gupta and Akshat R Saluja in pivotal roles.
