Television actor Parth Samthaan who is currently playing the role of Anurag Basu in Ekta Kapoor’s hit Star Plus show ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ is currently going through a tough phase of his life as his father Mr. Laghate passes away in Pune few days ago.
Parth’s father had been hospitalised a couple of days before he passed away and Parth left the sets of the show as soon as he got to know about his father’s deteriorating health.
After performing the last rites of his father, now Parth has resumed shooting.
Parth Samthaan resumes shooting
According to Spotboye, “The Anurag Basu of Balaji’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 faced the cameras yesterday (21st April) at Killick Nixon (Chandivali), reporting for the 2 pm shift on time.”
Speaking about the same, a source told SpotboyE that, “Parth was very sombre throughout the day, he was very close to his father and he might take time to come out of it.”

Parth Samthaan’s family hails from Pune and rarely comes into the spotlight. In March Parth gifted his parents a flat in Mumbai. He shared the news with his fans on social media. His caption read, “Gift to my Parents –MY FIRST HOUSE IN MUMBAI?????? This feeling is beyonhappiness!
