Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre who was undergoing cancer treatment in New York is currently in Mumbai for the last few months.
Well recently, Sonali appeared on Neha Dhupia’s chat show BFFs With Vogue with her besties Gayatri Oberoi and Sussanne Khan.
shared how she felt when she first got to know that she is diagnosed with cancer. Sonali said, “When we heard it, it was like, ‘Oh, my God’, we’ve been hit by a train. I hadn’t slept at all and that was the night I acknowledged everything, accepted everything that this is it. This is going to be my last crying of how did I get this and why is this happening with me.”

About her friends Sussanne and Gayatri, Sonali said, “These girls were just there with me. They have been my strength. From now on, it’s going to be happiness and smiles. I saw the sun coming up, clicked a picture and shared it with my family and my girls, and said, ‘Girls, Switch on the Sunshine’.”

Talking about her husband Goldie Behl, Sonali said that he has been the support system. “Goldie and I are married for 16 years. And when I came to know about cancer, I realised Goldie is the most important person I care about. Goldie said ‘Let us get on with this day. Let us survive this day,’ and this is how I came up with #OneDayAtATime,” said Sonali Bendre.

Last year, Sonali broke the news that she has been diagnosed with high-grade cancer. The actress was getting her treatment done in New York. In December, she returned to Mumbai.
