After sharing posters, now the makers of Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Article 15 has released the teaser of the film.
The teaser opens with a voiceover from Ayushmann who recites Article 15 from the Constitution of India. It gives the people Right to Equality. It says that no person will be discriminated against on the basis of religion, caste, creed or gender by the state.
There are glimpses of a burning statue of BR Ambedkar, vehicles on fire, and mob violence perpetrated by men carrying saffron and blue flags.
The teaser ends with the hard-hitting message of “Farq Bahut Kar Liya, Ab Farq Laayenge”. The trailer of the film will release on May 30.
Talking of the film, ‘Article 15’ is an investigative drama written by Gaurav Solanki and Anubhav Sinha. Apart from Ayushmann, it also stars Isha Talwar, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra and Manoj Pahwa.
It’s based on the Indian Constitution’s ‘Article 15’, which prohibits people from discriminating anyone on the basis of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth. ‘Article 15’ is inspired from real life events.
Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the film is set to release on 28th June 2019.
