Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai going off-air, actress Ashi Singh gets emotional

Here’s a bad news for all the fans of Sony TV’s popular show Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai starring Randeep Rai and Ashi Singh as the show is going off air next month.

The news came as shock to it’s fans. Apart from the fans, the cast also is in a state of shock after knowing about this.

Ashi Singh who plays Naina spoke to imwbuzz.com and confirmed the news. She said, “Yes, this is a very emotional news and I could not handle it personally when we were told of it yesterday (July 12). It is true that our show is going off air next month.

Ashi got so emotional when she got the news that she broke down into tears. “There are so many things that I want to tell the fans of Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai. We all know that they are very emotionally attached to the show. I could not control my tears when I got the news. I could not speak to anyone after that. I will soon get in touch with the fans. I know they are so attached to the show. Having said this, the show had to end at some point of time,” added Ashi Singh.

On the other hand Randeep Rai said, “There are mixed emotions about what is happening. First of all, I was shocked to hear this. I was not sure of the news, and when I heard it, I could not believe it. Everything was going so well for the show. I have never counted the TRPs. The TRP has gone up and come down over the last few months. Apart from TRP, everything was so smooth. And when I heard of it, I felt that everything good has to come to an end.”

Producer Sumeet Mittal shared a post on Instagram and made an emotional appeal to the fans to save Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai. He shared the post along with a throwback image of himself and wife Shashi. The couple looks quite similar to Sameer and Naina from Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai.

But slowly the story’s purity touched the hearts of not only the target audience but the young and teens also…That was something! Something which gave the strength to our belief that pure and innocent love touches the heart of any age any era! And here… it hasn’t touched the hearts of a few but… the millions!

Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai  is based on the youngsters’ love story and is set in the 1990s. It is inspired from the real life love story of producers Shashi and Sumeet Mittal.
