Mission Mangal Review
Story of the movie:
The story starts with a failed mission, after which Rakesh Dhawan (Akshay Kumar) transferred to Mars department. There are no people in this department because they think achieving Mars is impossible. Later Tara (Vidya Balan) joins Rakesh for Mission Mars as she blames herself for the failure of last mission. Tara hatches a brilliant plan to put India on the space map. She somehow convinces ISRO’S director to back Rakesh for Mar’s mission, and they build a team of underdogs which includes Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari and Sharman Joshi. Whether and how they make it happen is a rest of the story.
Akshay Kumar delivers a brilliant performance in the film. Vidya Balan deserves special applause here. Other stars including Sonakshi, Kirti, Sharman, Taapsee and others do not have as much screen presence, but they have done justice to their roles.
The film’s music is good. Even the background score blends in very well with the situations in the film.
The film’s direction is good. Dialogues are catchy. VFX is good enough. However, the climax of the film should be even more better.
Watch Or Not:
The film will make your heart with pride. Just go and watch!
