After entertaining the audience with De De Pyaar De, now Ajay Devgn is set to star in Syed Abdul Rahim’s biopic.
Now, the makers of the film has released the first look and title of the film.

Today, the producer of the film, Boney Kapoor took to his Twitter account and shared the first look and title of the film. He wrote, “Proud to kick off the Untold Story of The Golden Years of Indian Football. Hope to bring glory to India with this fantastic story.

The poster has a giant football-cup trophy in focus with a glimpse of a stadium in the background. The poster reads ‘The golden era of Indian football 1952-1962’, which is the time the film is set in.
The film will also star Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. Ajay will play Syed Abdul Rahim, the architect of modern football in India.

Syed was the Indian football coach and manager of the Indian national team from 1950 until his death in 1963. He is regarded as the architect of modern Indian football.
The film will be directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma of Badhaai Ho fame and produced by Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta.
The film is expected to hit the theatres sometime next year.
