Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha has recently appeared on popular quiz based reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati 11 hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.

The actress graced the hot seat along with entrepreneur Ruma Devi. Ruma Devi was invited on the show as a Karamaveer contestant, who works in an NGO named Grami Vikas Chetna Sansthan in Rajasthan.

Ruma Devi’s NGO is known for providing logistical support to several women artisans in rural areas. She provides employment in embroidery, patchwork and mirror work. In 2018, Ruma was honored with Nari Shakti Puraskar, for her exceptional work and contribution towards women empowerment.

Sonakshi Sinha gets brutally trolled

 While Ruma and Sonakshi together managed to win a total of Rs. 12 lakh 50 thousand, one specific question that the two were asked has grabbed everyone’s attention.

During the show, Sonakshi was asked, “According to Ramayana, Hanuman fetched the Sanjeevani Buti (herb) for whom?” She got confused between four options given to her in the game – Sugriva, Lakshmana, Sita, and Rama.

While Ruma did not know the answer to the question, Sonakshi was confused thinking that Sita might be the correct answer. The two, however, decided to use a lifeline and it was the expert advisor who informed Sonakshi and Ruma that Lakshmana was the right answer.

After this, Sonakshi faced a backlash from the netizens on the social media platform, Twitter. Not only this, but even Bachchan also mocked Sonakshi for not knowing the answer to a Ramayana-related question.
