Durga Puja is the major festival for Bengalis across the world and is an occasion marks the battle of good over evil. Spread across 10 days, it signifies the birth of Durga with the blessings of the gods, as collective energy, to fight the demon king Mahishasura.

Durga Puja in Mumbai is also an opportunity to do some star-spotting. Many popular celebrities also spotted at a various Durga puja pandal in Mumbai.

The stars spotted at pandal were actors Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Ayan Mukherji among others.

Durga Puja 2019

Kajol looked gorgeous in a yellow saree with a green border. While Rani was in a red saree and she completed her look with sindoor and bindi.

Kajol’s mother Tanuja and sister Sharbani Mukerjee were also present there.

Priyanka Chopra too arrived to seek blessings and she was looking simple yet classy in a white outfit.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan currently hosts the eleventh season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. His has several films lined-up such as JhundBrahmastraChehre and Gulabo Sitabo. Kajol, on the other hand, was last seen in Pradeep Sarkar’s comedy-drama Helicopter Eela, based on Anand Gandhi’s Gujarati play Beta, Kaagdo. She will next be seen in Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior, a biopic on military leader Tanaji Malusare.
