Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is all set to play Jayalalithaa in her biopic Thalaivi. And now, the actress starts preparing for her role. However, according to latest reports, Kangana Ranaut starrer in trouble as Jayalalithaa’s niece has approached Madras High Court seeking a stay on the film.
According to Times Now report, Deepa has moved to the Madras High Court and has appealed that neither the upcoming film nor the web series makers have got the due permissions from her. Deepa apparently feels that certain facts and incidents could present Jayalalithaa in a bad light and she wants the court to intervene to ensure that the filmmaker is stating the facts in the film.

Thalaivi will be produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri & Shaailesh R Singh and is a biopic based on the life of former chief minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa.
Directed by AL Vijay, the film is slated to release in 2020.
