Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s first look from Panipat unveiled


After introducing Sanjay Dutt’s character as Ahmad Shah Abdali, the makers of Panipat have now introduced us to Kriti Sanon and Arjun Kapoor’s character from the film.

Sharing her first look poster, Kriti Sanon wrote, “Parvati Bai – A True Queen Needs No Crown. Panipat Trailer Out Tomorrow. #PanipatLook.”

In the poster, Kriti looks ethreal in a zari saree and traditional jewellery. The leading lady plays the role of Parvati Bao, wife of Sadashivrao Bhau (played by Arjun Kapoor).

Arjun Kapoor too shared his first look poster and wrote, “Sadashiv Rao Bhau – Bravery Is To Stand For What You Believe In, Even If You Stand Alone. Panipat Trailer Out Tomorrow.”

In the poster, Arjun Kapoor looks all ready to fight a battle.

Panipat is based on the third battle of Panipat, which is one of the most epic battles in the history of India that took place on January 14, 1761.

The battle was fought between the northern expeditionary Force of the Maratha Empire and invading forces of the King of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Abdali, supported by two Indian allies—the Rohilla Afghans of the Doab, and Shuja-ud-Daula, the Nawab of Awadh.

Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and produced by Sunita Gowariker under their home banner AGPPL in association with Rohit Shelatkar’s company – Vision World, the film is scheduled to release on December 6, 2019.
