The Supreme Court on Friday grants relief to Salman Khan and said that no coercive action will be taken against Bollywood actor Salman Khan on a complaint filed against him for allegedly hurting religious sentiment by producing Bollywood movie ‘Loveyatri’.
In 2018, several groups opposed the title and stated that it hurt Hindu sentiments.

The film was earlier named Loveratri, but was later changed to Loveyatri. The producers keeping in mind that earlier name sounded like ‘Navratri’.
And now, passing its judgement on the same, a bench headed by Justice A M Khanwilkar, said no coercive action will be taken against Salman on the complaint filed against him.
The film is a love story set in Gujarat. Directed by debutant director Abhiraj Minawala (former assistant of director Ali Abbas Zafar) and produced by Salman Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films.
The film released in October 2018.
