Kanika Kapoor’s friend goes missing amid COVID-19 Lockdown, Lucknow police launch hunt

The Bollywood playback singer Kanika Kapoor, who won everyone’s heart through her sweet voice has been tested positive for the coronavirus.

She recently returned from the UK and even attended a party before testing positive. Almost after 10 days from her return, Kanika Kapoor tested positive for COVID-19.

Now, the members who attended these parties are also being tested for Coronavirus as they came in contact with Kanika. Reportedly, a friend of the singer who was also at the Taj Hotel with her is missing.

As reported by News 18, a Mumbai-based man named Ojas Desai who left Taj Hotel on March 16 is untraceable. Chief medical officer (CMO) Dr Narendra Agarwal said that Lucknow police is trying to track him, however, they are unable to figure out about his whereabouts, says the report. Kanika has been quarantined in a hospital in Lucknow and hence she cannot be questioned right now, says the report.

Meanwhile, it has been stated that she came in contact with 162 people out of which 63 people have been tested negative for COVID-19. “Swab samples of these persons are being collected and sent for testing at designated labs,” said the report. The party that was attended by Kanika also saw the presence of former Chief Minister Of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje and her son. They have been tested negative.
