Bollywood actor Amitah Bachchan is all set to return with the 12th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
To raise the excitement among the viewers, the makers has released the promo of the show.
Owing to the Covid-19 situation, the show will go digital with the entire selection process.
In the video, the Megastar can be heard saying, “Har cheez ko break lag sakta. Nukkad ki chai ko, chai pe hone wali hello hi ko. Sadko ke sath yaari ko, triple seat sawari ko, har cheez ko break lag sakta hai. Office wali chakri ko, aadhi raat ki tafri ko, shopping mall ke pyaar ko, chaurahe ke yaar ko, har cheez ko break lag sakta hai. Subah ke school ko, raste ki dhool ko, jeewan ki race ko, conference room ki maze ko, ghadi ki tiktik ko, shantabai ki jhik-jhik ko, train ki hahakar ko, dhadkan ki raftaar ko. Har cheez ko break lag sakta hai.”
He adds, “Lekin ek cheez hai jise break nahi lag sakta- sapnon ko. Sapnon ko udaan dene phir aa rahe hain mere sawaal aur aapke KBC registrations 9 May raat 9 baje se sirf Sony TV par.”

The registration promo was shot at Amitabh Bachchan’s house due to the ongoing lockdown. Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari remotely directed the promo. Nitesh said, “Each year, when we start deliberating about KBC, we go through various insights which may trigger an impactful narrative. This time however, the very environment that we are in, sets the context of the film.”
“KBC is not just a game/quiz show for people. It’s more than that. It’s an opportunity to realise one’s dreams. One doesn’t stop dreaming given the adversity. In fact, the dreams only become more significant, and that was the trigger for this film. Shooting this film was a challenge, though. First, I shot a scratch film with myself and shared it with Mr. Bachchan, for him to get an idea about my vision. After which, Mr. Bachchan shot the entire film at his own home, all by himself. I hope this campaign strikes a chord with the audience and they participate wholeheartedly,” he added.
As revealed in the promo, Bachchan is going to ask a question on Sony TV at 9 pm from May 9 to May 22. People who want to participate in the quiz show this year will have to answer the questions correctly through texts or with the help of the SonyLIV app.
The show will be produced by StudioNEXT and the selection process will be conducted digitally, through SonyLIV.
