Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar who is known for her power-packed performances in films like Tanu Weds Manu, Veere Di Wedding and many more has recently helps several migrants in Mumbai to reach their respective native places.
Reportedly, the actress arranged train tickets for them so that they could reach their homes. She helped 1,350 workers to reach home safely to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
Talking to Times Now about the same, she was quoted saying, “At a time when lakhs of people are out on the streets, facing extreme hardship, I feel ashamed sitting at home. This crisis has exposed the defects in our system.”

She even shared some snaps of Swara contributing 500 pairs of shoes toward migrant relief efforts on her Twitter handle.

Meanwhile, actor Sonu Sood has also arranged transportation for the migrant workers. He has helped workers from Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Bihar and Jharkhand reach their hometown. Several people have flooded his social media handles, urging the ‘Dabangg’ actor to help them reach their home.
