Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead hanging from the ceiling fan in his home in Bandra, Mumbai. He was 34.
The actor had reportedly been suffering from depression for about six months. His death has left the entire nation in shock.
His family came to Mumbai and the funeral took place on June 15. His ashes were immersed in Ganga at his hometown in Patna.
Now, days after the actor’s demise, Sushant’s father breaks his silence on his son’s unfortunate death. Not only this, his father also talks about Sushant’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande’s visit to Patna and Mumbai home.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s father breaks silence
While talking to Tadka Bollywood, his father revealed that after a lot of prayers, God blessed them Sushant Singh Rajput and called him a gifted child. “Bohot mannat maang ke paida hua tha Sushant. 3 saal mannat maangi thi uske liye. 4 ladkiyon main ek ladka tha.” On being further probed about him being special his farther expressed, “Aur jinke liye itni mannat maangte hain unke sath yahi hota hai”
Sushant’s father revealed that Ankita had met him not just in Mumbai but also in Patna. When asked about her, Sushant’s father said, “Ha wo aayi bhi thi, Bombay bhi aayi thi aur Patna bhi aayi thi.” On their relationship, he said, “Yeh toh sanjog hai, jo hona hota hai hota hai.”
Sushant and Ankita met on the sets of their TV show Pavitra Rishta, and dated for six years. She was spotted visiting Sushant’s Mumbai home after his passing.
Sushant’s father said that he’d spoken with the actor about his marriage plans. “Iss par baat hui thi, usne bola tha ki corona me toh nahi, fir uske baad ek film aa rahi hai, wo karlenge, uske baad February-March mein dekhte hai karenge. Yehi last baat hui thi uske sath meri (We had spoken about it earlier. He had told me that he won’t get married during corona but after his upcoming film releases, he will think about planning a wedding around February-March. This was the last conversation we had about his marriage).”

While Sushant’s father didn’t reveal the identity of the girl he wanted to marry, he said, “We told him he should get married to a girl of his choice as he has to spend his life with her.”
