Ever since megastar Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for Covid-19, a number of rumours have surfaced on the internet saying other high-profile celebrities have also been infected.
Now, there have been news doing the rounds that veteran actress Hema Malini have been tested positive for coronavirus.
However, putting all the speculations to rest, Esha Deol step up and called the news absolutely fake and asserted that her mother, Hema Malini, is fit and fine.

She took to Twitter and wrote, “My mother @dreamgirlhema is fit & fine ! The news regarding her health is absolutely fake so please don’t react to such rumours! Thanks to everyone for their love & concern.”

On Sunday morning, Hema also tweeted her wishes for Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan’s good health after they were diagnosed with the novel coronavirus on Saturday. “Amit ji has tested positive & has been admitted to Nanavati hospital. I pray for his well being & I’m sure that with all our collective prayers, he will come out of this safely,” she wrote in her tweet.

Previously, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni had slammed a tweet that said Ranbir and Neetu Kapoor, along with Karan Johar had tested positive for Covid-19. She wrote on Instagram, “Attention seeking ??? Least verify/ clarify ! We are fit We are good ! Stop spreading rumours ! #lunatics.”
